The face behind
the projects

I grew up in the beautiful Black Forest, studied Communication Design in Schwäbisch Gmünd and recently graduated with a Master of Arts in Strategic Design.

For me, every project has its own requirements and needs. To fulfill them, a designer should always embrace ambiguity and bring along a huge portion of curiosity. That is why I believe the value of my work lays in understanding people, context and systems to design solutions that create value for users as well as businesses.

I enjoy fast-paced environments, discovering new perspectives, learning about new topics and collaborating with people from different backgrounds.

My approach

Human-centered Design

The user is always at the heart of the design process. By applying qualitative and quantitative research methods I am able to learn about the user’s individual needs. Using these to shape the design process is the basis for any successful project. Together with the users, solution approaches always need to be iteratively tested and questioned throughout the process to gain more valuable insights.

Sustainability

For me, sustainability means responsibility. To question every step in the design process and to determine what impact it has on the natural world and humanity. Be it components of a product, its manufacture or the entire product life chain: I see it as my responsibility to design with care and foresight.

Design Thinking

By using a methodical approach, complex questions and wicked problems can be solved through collaboration and creativity. Especially in interdisciplinary teamwork the application of the right methods can make an exciting contribution to the success of a project.
